IfA Consultation on Standard and Guidance document
The IfA are seeking comments from the commercial archaeology sector and other interested groups on their new Standard and Guidance document for archaeological advice by historic environment services.
The Institute for Archaeologists and the Association of Local Government Archaeological Officers have produced a draft Standard and Guidance document for the archaeological advice given by historic environment services. The aim of the document is to support historic environment services by providing a benchmark against which the service providers can be assessed. The IfA and ALGAO are now seeking comments on this document. More information about the document and the consultation period can be found here
